PERFORMANCE
The EXTENDO® product family is obtained in a multiple-step recycling process from high-performing flat glass as basic raw material. Due to its production process and chemical composition, EXTENDO® provides a series of exceptional properties such as:

very good resistance to chemicals, scratches and weathering

The performance of Unitika Glass Beads results from the combination of these properties with the spherical particle shape and a particularly fine grain size distribution. In fiber-reinforced compounds of engineering plastics, EXTENDO® increases dimensional stability and reduces shrinkage.
Microglass beads are also used in 3D printing. This includes additive manufacturing processes such as selective laser sintering (SLS).
